y-bombing in leslieville

in the wee hours of this morning i made my way to leslieville, toronto, to yarn bomb an electrical pole i had located on a previous reconnaissance mission. this pole was situated right next to a streetcar stop so my work would get plenty of view. i visited the scene after it got a bit brighter out and took some pictures:

so there you have it – my first successful yarn bombing as my alternate identity, qknit. leslieville was a great area to visit in the early hours of saturday morning; i’m inspired to strike again in this area. more thoughts on that subject to come. for now, this is qknit signing off. peace, love, and yarn for all!

telephone pole yarn bomb

so here it is, up and ready to go! i’m just waiting for a night when it’s not super chilly out and i don’t have much to do the next day so i can sleep in. done in a wool blend of orange, purple and red on a 5mm crochet hook. tag hand-stitched (by yours truly).
