after arranging for a place to stay in the west end, i made a nest on the floor of my friend’s apartment and settled down for the night. at 3:58 am i awoke to the hilarious sound of “rich bitch” by die antwoord and i was ready to go. i managed to coax my accomplice out of bed with the promise of iced tea and good times. we took off around 4:15 and after a quick stop at the 24-hour metro we were on our way to the first site. this yarn bomb is dedicated to a friend of mine who runs ace of spades tattoo over at college + bathurst. of course i had to incorporate the image of a spade into the yarn bomb. sadly it was in that weird sparkly green stuff that seems to be growing like a weed in my yarn pile. every time i look back there, there’s more! what the hell?
anyway, 2tog, my new accomplice, was an excellent lookout and we didn’t run into any trouble on this leg of the journey. check back for parts two and three!
pictures to come.
